Meet Dustin

Founder of TCFC

Hey, I’m Dustin — founder of Transition City Fitness Club here in Nanaimo, BC. My mission is simple: help people of all ages move better, develop strength, and build holistic balance & mental resilience through fitness. I'm a WeckMethod Master Coach and love to teach trainers and my clientele how to move with confidence.

With over a decade of coaching experience, I’ve developed a unique training style that blends classic strength training with rotational movement, functional patterns, and real-world athleticism. Whether you're just starting out, getting back into fitness, or leveling up your performance, I work with my team of coaches to create personalized programs that meet you where you’re at — and will help you grow from there.

I work out of my private gym, teach group classes, and run community-based programs like the Nanaimo Community Wellness Park. As the only WeckMethod Master Coach on the Island I love integrating tools like flow ropes and BOSU training into my sessions to unlock better movement and balance. This coveted qualification allows me to certify coaches as Rotational Movement Training Specialists (RMTS).

At the heart of it all, I have a dream to build a wellness center called Transition City and have dedicated my life to finding the team and people who want to work together to build it. As I work towards this goal I plan to help everyone around me find balance, build strength and have fun in their training!

Misha Blades

Guiding you on your fitness journey is my passion! My path into fitness began in competitive sports, where I learned the importance of the gym in preparing athletes' bodies for the demands of their sport. I discovered countless ways to develop movement patterns in the gym, and the joy that comes from this pursuit. Fitness not only strengthens the body but plays a crucial role in maintaining mental well-being too. As I continue to work towards cultivating a strong, durable, mobile, and healthy self, I offer to guide you toward your own fitness goals. I coach my clients to feel free and limitless in their bodies, empowering them to grow in confidence and positivity!

Jessica Kimball

My name is Jessica. I have a passion for health and learning which is what lead me to want to train others. My personal training accreditation was done through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. I also have my certificate in Kettle bell training as well as Corrective exercise. On that note I have learned more from the people I interact with on a daily basis, and look forward to hearing what everyone has to offer.

Outside of work you will see me doing a lot of things! I like to Olympic Lift, if I’m not doing that I’m probably lost in the mountains or in a cave somewhere. With that, I know everyone has a life and finding a way to make fitness fit your life is key! There is no one way to train and we can find what suits you.

Devon Bennet

Devon Bennett is a passionate yoga instructor and microdose coach dedicated to helping people reconnect with their bodies, minds, and deeper potential. With years of experience guiding movement and mindfulness practices, Devon blends the art of yoga with the transformative benefits of intentional microdosing. His approach is grounded, supportive, and deeply personalized — creating a safe space for growth, healing, and self-discovery.
